Ian’s practice focuses on legal transactions in the entertainment industry with an emphasis on film and TV production, video games, interactive digital media, privacy, and intellectual property acquisition, distribution, and protection. Ian also works with Mark Edwards in the firm’s entertainment litigation practice.

Ian is a trusted counselor whose clients value his careful drafting and unflagging attention to detail. Ian has developed expertise drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements in the film and TV industry, as well as production services agreements and co-production agreements.

Ian routinely volunteers as a duty counsel with Artists’ Legal Advice Services and is a frequent contributor to the firm’s legal blog. Prior to joining Edwards Creative Law, Ian articled at a personal injury firm and worked as a personal trainer
